The lack of sleep caused a domino effect in everything else in my life that week. I hated everyTHING and everyONE! And everything that I wanted to go my way, inevitably went the opposite way. I could not wait to hit the pillow Friday night! It wasn't until Friday night came, that I realized that I was exhausted. Not just tired. There is a distinction. And when I realized that I was so extremely exhausted, I realized that it was because of my own doing. I didn't take care of ME last week. Didn't sleep, didn't give my self proper fuel at proper times, and barely drank any water.
It's important to remember that when you fall you have two options. You could either get back up, or stay down. It's really that simple! (Don't try and create anything beyond those two options. I know some of you can't help it.) I chose to GET UP, and get out of my funk that I'd caused. The great part about "falling off" track is that when we get back up, we have a chance to start new. A clean slate.
