- Is there an area of your life in that past that you felt the most valid?
- What were you doing?
- When was that?
- Who were you with?
- What can you draw from those moments?
For me, I was able to draw that I felt the most valid when I felt safe enough to revel in my own uniqueness. Personally, I aim to be a space for people to feel safe to be who they are, fearlessly. What it's turned into is the creation of this blog. Myself and the other contributing writers share ourselves authentically in an effort to move and inspire. We're offering our advise and learned lessons, and in most cases also taking our own advice.
I encourage you to answer the above questions and follow your intrinsic motivation. What are you here to do? What are your gifts? What are you uniquely good at? Do that consistently. You'll probably find that in some way, your purpose is to serve others and that your gifts will support your in doing that.
When you help others, that's a seed that you're sowing. We will always reap what we so eventually. And helping others is probably the best medicine to alleviate the pain from your own problems. I can't help but to think of all my fellow NY-ers offering a helping hand to those in need after Hurricane Sandy.
So what is your purpose? How do you feel about this new revelation?
